I am a science student from Colombo,Sri Lanka.Since I was a kid,I’ve had a massive musical influence plus a passion to write.The Metal Cracker is the final result of what you may want to call a “perfect combination”.To be honest,metal and writing both have a lot to be explored away from the monitor,but let’s put it this way,I have a passion for blogging too.

My interest in metal started sometime back as an 8th Grader,since then I’ve explored pretty much every sub-genre within this amazing form of music.I also relate to non-metal music forms like Classical,Dark Classical,Baroque and Opera.

Though I hate to,due to personal reasons I have to state this too;I am “acedemically” qualified enough to write about music!Well,that is western music….mainly!!!

This blog explores Heavy Metal music,that is to keep it very simple.This blog will take you from metal reviews to tips on Metal Journalism,mysteries/stereotypes within metal and basically everything under the name of Heavy Metal.Please do not misunderstand the purpose of this blog,I am not on a quest of justifying metal,though I might explore the reasons behind its stigmatization.There’s no need for metal to be justified!!!As Sam Dunn said to all non-metallers:”We are doing just fine without you!!!”.
